About the Festival
Gwreiddiau means roots, and that is where this festival begins. We’re gathering on the grassy slopes of Castell Henllys, an Iron Age hillfort in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, for four days of music, food, craft and storytelling. Come and join us.

Rooted in Pembrokeshire
People have gathered on this hill for over two thousand years. We want to honour that by celebrating the Welsh language, local musicians and the makers, growers and cooks who live nearby. Everyone is welcome, whether you speak Cymraeg, English or a bit of both.
Looking after the land
Seasonal food from Pembrokeshire producers, with plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices
No single-use plastic, so bring a bottle and we’ll fill it for free
Car sharing, and help planning trips by bus and train
Compost toilets, and everything reused, recycled or composted where we can
Renewable energy for the stages wherever possible, not diesel generators
Come as you are
The festival is made for families, and dogs on leads are welcome. We’re working with the site to make sure everyone can enjoy it, including people with access needs.
